Nainital Zoo Travel Map

The Nainital Zoo is located in Sher ka Danda Hills and is about 1.5 km away from central Mallital. The zoo is about a kilometre away from the bus stand. The actual name of the zoo is Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo.Situated at a height of 2100 m above sea level, the zoo is home to animals like Himalayan black-bear, snow leopard, Siberian tiger, barking deer, sambar and palm civet cat. In addition to these, animals like silver pheasant, hill fox, ghoral and rose ringed parakeets inhabit the zoo.
