Mukteshwar

The hilly sacred destination Mukteshwar is a town, perched at an altitude of 2286 meters (7500 feet) in the Kumaon Hills, located in Nainital district in an Indian state of Uttarakhand. The famous attraction of Mukteshwar is 350-year-old Mukteshwar Temple/Dham situated atop the highest point in the town, dedicated to ‘Lord Shiva’. The city has many tourist attractions apart from Mukteshwar temple in its account, Chauli ka Jali is one of the famous attraction.
