Kasar Devi Temple Travel Map

Kasar Devi Temple, located at a distance of approximately 9 kmilometre from the Binsar, is one of the most popular tourist attractions. Initially, from 1970 to early 80's, the temple was the house for Dutch Monk. According to a legend, it is said that the place was athe house for the hippies, which also set off a Hippie boom in the entire area. However, this temple gained importance and recognition when Swami Vivekanand meditated in this temple in 1820.
