Kanda Travel Map

Kanda is located around 25 km from Bageshwar and is a beautiful site on Bageshwar Chaukori road. Kanda has derived its name from this caste and mostly attracts nature lovers. Temple of Bhadrakali is also located very close by.Located at a height of 1500-1900 m above sea level, this hill station is surrounded by terraced fields and mountains. According to ancient legends, older inhabitants of this place lived in a local caste named Kanyal.
