The Kukrail Forest Reserve has been developed by the Forest Department of Lucknow. Located at a distance of 15 km from the destination, the reserve is famous for a deer farm and crocodile nursery.Variety of deer like sambars, black bucks and spotted deer, and birds can be seen in the reserve. Children's park, cafeteria and rest house are other attractions of the reserve.In 1978, the reserve was established with the aim to breed the newly born crocodiles found in Ramganga, Suheli, Girwa and Chambal rivers of the state. Newly born crocodiles from other rivers like Ramganga, Suheli and Girwa were collected by the forest authorities to be put in this Ghariyal Rehabilitation Centre.
