Kanpur Sangrahalaya, which is also known as Kanpur Museum, is the official museum of the city. The museum was established in 1999, with a purpose of exhibiting artefacts that tell the story of the city. Exhibit at this museum also throws light of the contributions of the people, who played a major role in the making of Kanpur city. Located within the Phool Bagh Ground, Kanpur museum is at the intersection of Mall Road and the Kanpur - Lucknow Road.
