Jama Masjid is one of the biggest mosques in India and is constructed in ancient Mughal architectural style. The initial construction work of the mosque started in 1246 by the first Nawab of Tonk, Amir Khan. It was finally completed between 1297 and 1298 by his son, Nawab Wzirudhoula. There are four doors and four minarets in this mosque. The walls of the masjid have fine golden paintings and meenakari work.
