Nawalgarh is a town founded in the 18th century by Thakur Nawal Singh, king of the ruler of Nawalgarh and Mandawa in Shekhawati. The Anandi Lal Poddar Haveli, built during 1920, is one of the most famous attractions of this town. The Bala Kila Fort in the town is known for paintings on its wall depicting the local tales.The Jodhraj Patodia Haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli and Chokhani Haveli are some of the other attractions of the town. Nawalgarh is also famous among tourists for the Roop Niwas Palace, Ganga Mai temple and British Clock Tower.
