Albert Hall
Albert Hall is popularly known as the Central Museum, displaying Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. The foundation stone of the hall was laid in 1876 by Edward VII. The museum was designed by Colonel Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob, who was inspired by the Albert Museum in London.The museum houses a unique range of miniature portraits, metal ware, sculptures, an Egyptian mummy and paintings, among other things. There is a Durbar Hall inside this museum which displays an array of beautiful carpets like Persian Garden Carpet. Some of the sculptures on display are as old as 2nd century, 8th century and 18th century.
