Parshuram Mandir is an old shrine that finds mentioned in the Puranas and is believed to be sanctified by Lord Parshuram and Lord Rama. The Brahmin sage, Lord Parshuram, is considered as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who vowed to eliminate the wicked Kshatriya rulers of his time. He conducted a maha-yagna at Vajreshwari, that resulted in the rise of volcanic ash hills in the region. The ancient temple draws inspiration from the Hemadpanthi architectural style.
