Vishram Bagh Waada was constructed by Peshwas during the 18th century. Made in quality wood, beautiful facades of the structure used to be its prominent highlights. Displaying specimens of old Maratha architectural beauty and style, the palace was built by Bajirao Peshwa II in between 1803 and 1809.The three-storeyed mansion is famous for its entrance and the balcony with carved woodwork. Having an area of 2, 11,900 sq ft, the palace took long 6 years to be completed. Once a garden, the palace derived its name from its gardener called Vishram.
