Located about 5 km away from Venna Lake towards Panchgani, the viewpoint has been named after Kate, daughter of Sir John Malcom, founder of Mahabaleshwar. Often referred to as Echo Point, it is known for the huge rock, which stands on the hill having an elevation of 50 m.
