Shiva Temple is situated in Ambarnath, close to Karnala. This temple is believed to have been constructed by Manmuniraja of Shilahara Dynasty in 1060. Visited by both Vaishnavites and Shaivites, the temple's exterior is decorated with sculptures inspired from the themes related to Shaiva and Vaishnava Puranas. Shivaratri is celebrated on a grand scale at this temple.
