The Malvan Beach is considered to be the commercially active beach of the Konkan region of Maharashtra. This beach has long stretch of white sand and is lined with several trees of coconut, mango and cashew. The fishermen, living nearby, sell various kinds of fish in the evening at the fish market near the beach.There are bars and restaurants alongside the beach on the Sindhudurg Coast. The beach is popular among scuba divers, who can rent small boats at the beach called Pagaar. Tourists can visit the Sindhudurg Fort located near the Malvan Beach.
