Bagmandala
Bagmandala is small village, which is located at a distance of few miles from the holy city of Harihareshwar. It is believed that the Prime Minister of the Maratha Kingdom, Peshwa, lived at this village for several years. The legacy of Peshwa is carried in an ancient fort, also known as Bankot Fort and a Peshwa Smarak. Jungle Jetty, which is a sea harbour in the forest, is one of the major attractions of this village. The small port serves as the ferry point for the local people travelling across the Bagmandala creek. Besides, this village is planning to launch a boat ride facility with a stretch of 5 km, which will take tourists to the Bankot Fort.
