Arthur Lake
Arthur Lake is also popularly known as Lake Arthur Hill and is formed due to the water coming from Pravara River. This lake is covered by dense forest and holds religious importance, as Agastya Rishi meditated at this place continuously for over a year. Constructed in 1910, Arthur Lake acts a reservoir for the nearby Wilson Dam.This lake is around 34 km long and features rivulets, named Randha Falls that come down from over 45 m height. The waterfall has been used by the government for generating hydro power. Tourists can enjoy boating at this lake, which is considered to be the chief transportation option available for travelling to the nearby Bari and Ratanwadi villages.
