Shri Ambadevi Temple is located in the centre of the city and is devoted to Goddess Ambadevi. The temple finds its mention in ancient gazetteers and is frequently visited by Hindu devotees. It is believed that Rukmini, daughter of King Bhishmak's, a day before her marriage to Shishupal visited this temple.The temple is thronged by devotees and tourists in large number during the festival of Dussehra. Shri Ambadevi Temple is decorated during the Navratri, which is celebrated with zeal by devotees and natives.
