Pundalik Mandir
Pundalik Mandir, near Alandi is located at Pandharpur on the banks of River Chandrabhaga. The temple is also known as Bhakta Pundalik Mandir in respect to the legendary persona Pundalik, who is said to have brought and established Hindu god Vithoba in this region and started praying Vithoba by building a temple for the god in pandharpur.Bhakta Pundalik was well known for his dedication and service to his parents after which lord Krishna appeared before him. People expressed their devotion to Bhakta Pundalik, by building a temple for him.
