Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary Travel Map

The Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of about 320 sq km, including the catchment area of the Tansa Lake. The sanctuary also covers forests like Khardi, Vaitarna, Shahapur and East Wada ranges.There are several animals in the sanctuary, including panther, barking deer, mouse deer, hyena, wild boar, leopard, jackal, four-horned antelope, sambar and common langur. The ideal time to visit this sanctuary is from November through May.
