Chandpur, one of the villages of the destination, is located in the Tumsar taluka of Bhandara. The village is renowned for its reservoir that was built by making a huge wall between two relocks. The wall of the reservoir offers views of the water body and its surrounding areas.The village once housed an old fort, which is presently the site for growing custard-apple trees. It is a home to various tribes but the prominent ones are Gaolis, who reside at the site and are entitled as professional cattle breeders. Besides, the village houses a huge tank, measuring around three square miles in depth, which was constructed at a cost of around two lakhs rupees.
