Athirapilly Falls, famous for its waterfalls, is a popular picnic spot located at a distance of 60 km from Thrissur city, at the entrance of Sholayar ranges of Western Ghats. Originating from the deep forests of Sholayar ranges, Athirapilly Falls plummets from a height of about 24 m to the rocky bed of River Chalakkudy.
