St Mary's Church, Cheriapally Travel Map

St Mary's Church is a famous church in the region which is located at Cheriapally. This church is around 12 km from the main city of Kottayam and was built by Thekkumkoor Maharaja in 1579. The church architecture displays a unique fusion of Portuguese and traditional Kerala architecture. The church walls are inscribed with beautiful murals that have been designed in both western and oriental architectural styles.
