Thriprayar Sri Rama temple is one of the renowned pilgrimage destinations at Kodungallur. Situated at Thriprayar, at a distance of about 15 km from Kodungallur, Thriprayar Sri Rama temple has a significant role in the famous Arattupuzha Pooram celebration. As per the legends, the idol of this temple was procured by an army chieftain when it was washed ashore. Lord Rama, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu is the presiding deity of this temple. It is also believed that this idol is a representation of the Holy Trinity - Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva.
