Shree Poornathrayesa temple is one of the chief sites of religious significance, situated in Tripunithura. This 1000 year old temple in proximity to Chottaniokkara, is dedicated to Poornathrayesa, a manifestation of Lord Vishnu. Due to a fire during early 1900's, most of the articles housed in the temple were damaged. The current structure of the temple houses a statue of Lord Poornathrayesan, which is worshipped in the form of Santhanagopala Moorthy. It is believed that this shrine was the chief place of worship for Cochin Kingdom Royal Perumpadappu Swaroopam family. Visiting the temple is believed to fulfil the desire of childless couples. Moreover, Vrishchikoltsawam festival is one of the main festivals of the temple, which is celebrated with fervour.
