Padum Travel Map

Padum, which is located at an elevation of 3,505 metres above the sea level, was the capital of ancient Zanskar. The Padum Valley can be seen here. Travellers can indulge in trekking as the valley is counted among the major trekking bases in India. The Starrimo Monastery built in the 10th century is also located nearby, which is a branch of the Stakna Monastery.
