Panamik
Located at an altitude of 3183 m above sea level, at a distance of 150 km from Leh, the hamlet of Panamik is popular for a hot water spring. The village is situated at the final frontier of India, proximal to the Tibetan territory. The hot water spring is located on the outskirts of the village and the water of this spring is said to be curative, due to the presence of sulphur and other chemicals in it. The Nubra River and its banks provide host a number of places for picnicking. The trek from panamik, down to the river bridge at Hargam,.is 5 miles long.
