Yadavindra Gardens
Yadavindra Gardens, also known as the Mughal Gardens of Pinjore, is located 35 km away from the city of Nalagarh. The garden is located at the foothills of the Shivaliks and has seven downward terraced lawns. The garden of Yadavindra were constructed in the 17th century, by Nawab Fadai Khan, in the mughal style of architecture.The garden is in the classical pattern of 'Charbagh', with a central waterway flanked by patches of greenery. It has domed balconies and three palaces called Jal Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Rang Mahal, as well as an amphitheatre. There is a Japanese garden, a mini zoo, lighted fountains, shaded pathways and a nursery of plants. The best time to visit this place, is on the day of the Baisakhi Festival and during the months of June and July, when the Mango Festival is celebrated here
