Sultanpur Palace, which is also known as Rupi Palace, houses large number of miniature paintings. This palace was constructed after the original structure was damaged in an earthquake. For its blend of Pahari and colonial architectural styles, and beautiful wall paintings, the palace is widely popular among locals and tourists.The style of paintings is based on scenic designs and rural backgrounds without any human element included in them. Entrance to this palace is constructed with huge wooden logs. This palace displays two styles of architecture, namely Pahari and Colonial. Since it is the private residence of the ruling family, travellers will have to take permission from the residents to visit it
