Jagannathi Devi Temple is situated at an altitude of 1,800 m above sea level. It is believed that this temple was constructed 1,500 years ago. Presiding deity of this temple is the sister of Lord Vishnu, popularly known as Bhuweneshawari. It is famous among locals by the name of Bekhli Temple. Walls of the temple are carved with beautiful presentation of Lord Durga's various avatars.Story behind the construction of this temple is that once a shepherd boy saw two girls dancing to the tunes of his flute. When he got hold of one of them, Goddess Bhuweneshawari revealed her identity and agreed to settle in the village at Bekhli. The temple shrine and construction reflect local architecture, while the idols present Gaddi tribal and Rajasthani influences. From this temple, tourists can avail views of the entire valley and adjoining mountains
