During the morning hours visitors can participate in the prayers as the monks chant and meditate. You can join local residents for a meditative walk around the temple/monastery complex. Along the way, you will see many prayer flags and 'mani' stones. There are two very beautiful lakes around Dharamsala i.e. Dal Lake and Kareri Lake close by.Known for its Tibetan settlements and the residence of Noble Laureate the 'Dalai Lama', Dharamshala is well connected with nearby places.
