Nyaya Mandir, or the Temple of Justice houses the District Court of Vadodara city in the state of Gujarat. Built in 1896, this building features an Indo-Saracenic architecture designed by the Madras architect Robert Fellowes Chisholm. Elements of Gothic, Renaissance and Mughal architectural styles are also reflected in the building. The central hall of the building, which is adorned with mosaic tiles, is currently used as the Town Hall. Inside the central hall is a statue of Maharani Chimnabai, who was the first consort of Gaekwad Maharaja Sayaji Rao III (1875 – 1939). Situated beside the Sursagar Lake in the centre of the city, this site is easily accessible from any part of Vadodara.
