Shree Parshuram temple or Somnath Parshuram Temple is one of the popular attractions nearby Somnath. This temple is located on the banks of Triveni Theerth at the spot where Lord Parshuram was relieved of the curse of ‘Kshatriyahatya’ with the blessings of Lord Somnath. The temple, dedicated to Lord Parshuram, also has two ancient Kunds in its premises. Shree Parshuram temple has three main structures which are sabhamandap, a central mandap and a garbhagriha. The garbhagriha or the sanctum sanctorum has 3 idols with Lord Parasuram in the middle and Kala and Kama on both sides. The temple complex also consists of shrines dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Lord Ganesh. There is also a structure devoted to Lord Parasuram's mother Renuka, which is situated behind the Parasuram Temple.
