Artist's Village Travel Map

Artist's Village is a small village located on the Saputara-Nasik main road. Dang District, of which Saputara forms a part, contains about 300 villages that offer abode to various tribal communities. These local communities include Bhils, Gamits, Kunbis, Warlis tribes, who form a part of the Artist's Village. These tribes rely on the forest for extracting timber and honey.  Tourists can find various bamboo-made artefacts such as jewellery, key chains, paintings, pen stands, pottery and vases in the shops operating in the village. The artists also organise various workshops for teaching their crafts.
