Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is located around 13 km away from Sinquerim. This church was constructed in 1541 and was reconstructed in 1619. The church is counted amongst the foremost churches constructed in the state. The bell hanging in the church is considered to be the second largest in the world. This golden bell originally belonged to the Church of Our Lady of Grace and was known as the Bell of the Inquisition. After winning the battle with the natives of the region, the Portuguese rulers shifted the bell to this church, in 1841.
