Harmal Beach
Harmal Beach is located in the northernmost region of Goa, around 22.5 km away from Sinquerim. Considered amongst the virgin beaches of Goa, this beautiful beach is secluded and untouched. Lying beyond the rocky headband and bordered by steep cliffs on both sides, the beach is only accessible by foot. The coastal path of the beach ends at the Terekhol Beach, located at the northernmost tip of Goa. The headlands, made up of basalt, are located near the shore and are clearly visible for few kilometres along the coast. These headlands are popular for paragliding. Dolphin watching boat trips, banana boat rides and other watersports can also be enjoyed at the Harmal Beach. Small shacks located along the beachside are popular for clothes, handicrafts and jewellery, brought in from across Goa and India. A hot water spring located near the main beach, feeding a freshwater lake, is another prominent attraction near the beach.
