Baga River
Baga River, situated on a hilly slope, originates from the forests of Bardez and Assagao. This 10 km long river is commonly known as the Riviera De Goa and is home to diverse aquatic species. The prime attraction of the site is the Coffin Bridge, situated on the riverside. This bridge segregates the green paddy fields from the settlements that lie on the north side of the river. The Baga River flows along the Baga Beach and then merges into the Arabian Sea. The Annual Sangodd Festival celebrated at Baga is a boat festival.
