Damodar Temple is located on the banks of Kushawati River and is visited by a large number of devotees and travellers. The Damodar Temple is dedicated to Lord Damodar, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The temple is thronged by tourists during the festival of Shigmo, a Goan Hindu festival. Pilgrims also visit the Kushawati River as it is believed that it has healing powers and can cure any kind of disease.
