St. Inez Cemetery is located in Panaji that has institutes, banks, hotels, banks and many other important tourist spots. The church and the cemetery were inaugurated on 1st January 1879. There are hundred years old headstones at this cemetery that are dedicated to the dead soldiers. The cemetery is popular for the St. Inez Creek, which opens up into the Mandovi River. This creek measures around 3.7 km in length and features over 12 culverts that mainly originate at the Goa Medical College.
