Nossa Senhora De Merces Church Travel Map

Nossa Senhora de Merces Church, also known as Our Lady of Mercy Church, is the famous church near Benaulim. Built in the Colonial Era, this ancient church was commissioned in 1581, but was founded years later in 1630. Statue of the infant Jesus is the highlighting feature of this church. This statue was enshrined at the church by Fr.Bento Ferrira in 1648. Main event held at this church is Fama of Menino Jesus (Child Jesus). This event is held on the third Monday of October every year.
