St. Michael's Church is one of the oldest churches in Goa and was constructed in 1595. The church is located on the Anjuna Beach Road and is dedicated to St. Miguel. This church includes a large welcoming door and two towers on either side. The church is also known for its Portuguese style of architecture. Apart from this, travellers can also view the idol of St. Michael with a scale in his left hand and a demon under his feet. The tabernacle placed in the centre of the main altar also attracts a number of tourists. The feast of St. Michael, celebrated in the church in the month of September, attracts a lot of travellers.
