St. Lawrence Church was built in the year 1630 in the honour of St. Lawrence. He was known as the 'controller of winds' and as the 'patron saint of the sailors'. Surmounted with a dome shaped architecture, the church possesses beautiful structures of the risen Jesus Christ with his legion of angels. The interior of the church is decorated with a statue of St. Lawrence to the right and the main altar bearing a wooden cross in the centre. Offering views of the calm sea and the fort, the garden within the church sprawls over a vast geographical area. Besides holding daily prayers, the church organises holy adoration on every Friday.
